Losing someone is always a difficult time. I had never planned a funeral before. My sister was to young to be gone already. When police at the scene tell you they are sorry to have to ask but do we have a funeral home in mind. It was a crapshoot when you have 5 minutes to name a funeral home. I feel like I was blessed with some good that day with Alsip. I spent the next week with my niece in a daze planning a service. John was amazing. He broke it up into a few appointments and guided us through it with grace. I never knew how much had to go into planning one. He handled so much for us giving us a few tasks at a time, walking us through them and then giving us more until it was done. Everything from that week is still a little bit of a blur but everyone told me how beautiful the service was and what a great job I did but what they didn’t know was I wouldn’t have been able to do it with out Johns help walking us through everything step of the way. John even recorded a copy of the service on a thumb drive for me so I could have it to watch later. Truly above and beyond. They even reached out to check on our family a few weeks after. They didn’t have to do this we had everything paid in full. They just care.

When my aunt passed away John and his staff were so amazing in pointing my family in all the right places to make sure my aunt was put to rest and the family was taken care of! When we had her service he was right there making sure we had everything we possibly needed to make that day so beautiful and rememberable!! Thank you so much for everything you guys do!

I lost my aunt in January and it was really hard for me and my whole family. Alsip and persons funeral home made the process of planning the funeral easy. They understood that we Had lost someone and they didn’t push us too hard but they made sure that the job was done. I didn’t realize how hard planning a funeral actually was until we had to. Alsip and person’s funeral home walked us through how to do this step-by-step. They were truly amazing. And they also gave us CDs of the funeral after it was over so that we could rewatch it whenever we felt like it. Planning my aunts funeral would have been a nightmare if it wasn’t for Alsip and persons funeral home.

This was the first time I had ever had to have these responsibilities and did not know the first thing about what was expected. Clarke was very helpful and quite patient. He never once made me feel anything but that he was guiding me through the process. I was as comfortable as possible throughout the entire process.
