Our visit was splendid, we hiked around the lake, picked up a few souvenirs and packed our own lunch. We would have fished but the winds were high and the fish weren't biting.

Another outstanding lake at Ruidoso NM. Perfect place for fishing, hiking. This lake is just besides the main road or Ruidoso. Though Parking lot is limited, nice place to hang out.

Stopped by after Ski Apachi. Water is low in lake, but trail is still fun. Some snow and ice watch out you may fall like I did. Had a great time though.

It's a beautiful place! There were plenty of fish to go around! We saw plenty of folks reeling them in! We took a walk around for a while and took in the beauty. It was a wonderful day.
