This is my favorite place in Joplin! Bob and Elise are just the greatest people ever. They go out of their way to make sure you have a good day there. Also they have such an impressive collection of books (and globes :) Love that place

As an avid reader, I love Always Buying Books for finding a great read. As a local author, I enjoy book signing events in the store and having my paperbacks on the local author shelf. The staff is friendly and incredibly helpful. I've asked about books that a librarian would have trouble finding and they know where it is and take you straight to it. Amazing service!
Well worth a visit anytime. Bob is a really awesome guy who always has time to share with a friend.
Always Buying Books is always my go to when I'm needing books. They have a wonderful selection, and excellent service.
If you are a book lover, you have to check this place out. I can't stress this enough as this is the neatest bookstore I have ever been to. The prices are very reasonable and the guy I spoke with at the counter is knows his stuff! The other interesting thing here are, world GLOBES! On several of the bookcases you will find world globes. I remember seeing these all the time I was a child.
