Took a mule deer mount into Top of Texas Taxidermy in December 2018. Was told it would take a year or less to have the mount returned. Made many multiple phone calls and left countless messages. On the rare occasion that I was able to get through, I was given the same answer, “It will be ready next month”. 19 months later I finally got my mount. The mount itself was done professionally. The service was terrible. I won’t be back.

Not only is Erik an amazing Taxidermist, he is a great guy. He takes serious interest in making sure you have a grade A experience. He is diverse not only trophy mounts but has a wealth of knowledge of the animals that come in to his shop. Not to mention some of the things he offers in his gift shop. Items like pillows, lamps wall hangings and much more. I highly recommend Top of Texas Taxidermy for ANY of your taxidermy needs. Start to finish Erik can handle it all.
