We started with American beach after hanging at Doheny and my son (9 at the time) recognized how much fun the kids were having and how kids his age were “actually” playing volleyball. After just one summer, we were impressed not only that our son could now hang when playing on the sand with his parents and had made MAJOR gains, but more importantly that Ian and the other coaches had taken him and the other kids under their wing and he was leaning growth mindset, perseverance, how to encourage and play like a team and many other life skills. Our tough to manage and sometimes negative daughter started when she was 8 and has been transformed in the way she sees herself and her willingness to “do hard things”. She went into it because we told her she had to and now she loves volleyball and can’t wait to go do her best. Both kids have thrived in this program and our oldest even played in a few beach tournament. Even though he didn’t take first place, he’s is excited and committed to keep improving and thanks to American beach I’m sure his dad and I only had a short period of time before he is squashing us on the beach volleyball court!

We’ve been around a LOT of indoor and beach volleyball for both our daughter and son. You won’t find a program like American Beach anywhere else. It will meet your child where they’re at and then encourage them to take big steps up to the next level. The level of respect and emphasis on character/life lessons is amazing. Your kids will work hard and love every second.

I have sent my kids to this volleyball camp for three summers and without a doubt, the American Beach Volleyball Club is setting the standard for fun, skills training, and leadership development. FUN Kids need to have fun and enjoy themselves. My two kids have come home wanting to go back for more! Yes... they loved it and enjoyed the staff and training instructors. Fun is critical for kids... Yes, they are serious about volleyball but understand that kids needs to have fun! SKILLS TRAINING Our two kids 16 and 14 (boy and a girl), have come home with a better understanding of passing, hitting, serving, blocking, defense, setting, serve/receive, defensive strategy, attack strategy, service routine, serving strategy and more. I can not say enough about this club. LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT My kids have come back understanding more about being a good leader. The talks and feedback that the training instructors and staff have given my kids has been so positive. Highly recommend! BOTTOM LINE If you are looking for a volleyball camp for kids who are serious about volleyball, has an element of fun, and is taught by people of integrity and leadership skills... I highly recommend the American Beach Volleyball Club!

I am thrilled to still have two kids at American Beach, after my older daughter graduated through High School. What a fantastic way to master volleyball - So many touches! Very approachable for ALL LEVELS, while still allowing for very high level players to gain mastery and AAA instruction. Highly Recommended!

There honestly is no better program out there!! American Beach Volleyball is an extremely well run beach volleyball club!! I really appreciate their organization, excellent coaching staff, and the way they inspire and uplift their athletes!!! My son has played club indoor volleyball for 2 years. He likes it. But he LOVES beach volleyball because of the positive way they encourage their athletes to continue to improve their game.
