I was denied access to this store by some old white guy named John due to a disability I have requiring me to wear a face shield instead of a cloth mask. I politely explained that I fall under the ADA. We were told by John if we didn’t leave the police would be called. I have left a voicemail with MDHHS and I will be filing a report on Monday. Extremely disappointed that this store allowed this discrimination to occur. And I would appreciate an apology from management/ownership. Since you will not let me reply to this thread any longer Kenneth Stonehouse John did not offer to help outside as he was not the salesperson we were working with, we were already being shown bikes when John stormed out of the back yelling. John did threaten to call the police and He proceeded to tell me that if I can’t wear a mask I should return to my home and stay away from the public. A face shield is what is known as a “reasonable accommodation” for those who “can not medically tolerate a face mask”. You should be embarrassed by this employee. Therefore your establishment allowed your employee named John to discriminate against me: the customer. Unfortunately you lost 2 bike sales that day and hopefully this review will allow other customers to see the way your establishment allows employees to treat customers with disabilities. It is upsetting to me that your solution to this problem was to simply blow it off and change the location of your reviews on your Facebook page to be less noticeable on to those visiting this site.

I had done some self modifications to my Trek MTB and had some questions as to the adjustments I had made to the shifting. While I was there, the gentleman proceeded to mount my bike on the stand to see what might need to be done. After a few minutes of checking the shifting, come to find out, everything was working ok. I was the problem. Operator error. I was ready to pay for a tuneup, but he said there was no charge! A very knowledgeable and courteous person. I’m sorry I don’t remember his name, but thank you so much for your assistance. Highly recommend!

I really appreciated the help George R. gave me picking out a bag for my bike. He took the time to educate me about my options, offer recommendations, and put the bags on my bike so I could test them with a quick spin. He noticed my brake cables were tangled and took a couple minutes to fix them for me. This was my first time in this store but the service will keep me coming back!
