Well, surprisingly...MOST of our stuff arrived, but overall, working with this company was less than satisfactory: we hired ATM about 8 months ago for a move from Southern to Northern CA. The receptionists who are the public face of the company are very polite and nice, but the rest of the staff and people (owner/manager) I dealt with seemed duplicitous. Like the other (somewhat incoherent) reviewer, our furniture was scratched, boxes came crushed, opened, re-taped, and we even received a few things that were not ours (a Dilbert book, and a broken office chair). After seeing the graffiti-covered truck that drove away with all of our possessions, I was at least happy to see that most of our things arrived. So, at a bare minimum, they did mostly what they were contracted to do, and we were both under financial, and time constraints to accomplish a big move for our family. I have heard experiences from other families, who paid twice as much for the pretty trucks, and uniformed movers, and had similar losses and carelessness. We are still missing a few valuables four expensive (Dewalt) tools (that would be really helpful as we update our new home), and several dishes arrived broken. So, if you are considering contracting with this company, understand that your things will be treated with little care or respect, and anything valuable to you should remain under your care throughout your move; ie. don't trust ATM with family heirlooms, art, tools,or jewelry, and pack your things with the expectation that they will be dropped, rummaged-through, and tossed around. Unfortunately, these guys reinforce the stereotype that moving companies are brutish and untrustworthy. Nonetheless, count yourself lucky that you are fortunate enough to be in the position to hire people to move the baggage you have accumulated throughout your life so far, I do.
