This is the worst office of America's Best in the region. The front desk receptionist is not customer friendly. Wanted to just order updated lenses in older frames that I bought there. I was told that I needed an appointment. My exam is less than 3 months old and on file. There was one (1) client in the office. Another worker killing time in the front. The website any requires appointments for eye exams.

Let me start off by saying the girl at the front desk was very rude. I was asking her a question and she was on her phone texting acting like she didn't want to be there. I felt ignored. Thankfully there was another receptionist there. She was the most helpful. All I wanted was to get my glasses adjusted while I waited for my appointment. The rest of the staff there was great, but because of how i felt the first receptionist acted I don't know if I'll be back or refer any of my friends and family.

BUYER BEWARE. I have worn glasses for over 30 years and this by far has been my worst experience. I previously went to Lenscrafters and private eyecare centers, but when I moved to IN, I decided to take the family to America's Best. I should have known...you get what you pay for. I have had several issues with appointments, wait times, rude customer service, and now issues with my glasses in 6 mths. I called to figure out the warranty for my glasses and was told by Ruby that I have to take your number because we have other customers waiting (as if I am not a customer). I asked for a managers name and number and she rerouted me to the same company number, just a different line. Then, I asked for his (Kurt Brown) email address and she stated that the general manager does not have a email address. Beware if the general manager of a company cannot be contacted by phone or email when there is an issue...that is a problem. We will not be customers of America's Best anymore and will advise other transferee's from our company to not go to America's Best.

Well my wife went Saturday and they told her insurance site was down so she would have to pay 450 dollars out of pocket and then just file a claim with insurance to get your money back no not how that works your employees are just lazy and don’t know how to do there job I had issues a year ago when I went no one knew what code or number to put in to get the insurance to work and they finally got it for me they just didn’t wanna do it so we had to pay 70 dollars for a eye exam that’s free with insurance terrible customer service skills in this location been going to America’s best for years but this location is terrible I will be going elsewhere now u need to train your employees correctly and get employees that want to work

After reading these reviews I almost didn't go here but I am so happy I did. The employees here were great and very friendly . I even ran across someone I knew that works there. I went to three other places before deciding on America's Best in Schererville and so happy I did. Reviews can be misleading sometimes so its best to check a place out before you judge them. A special thanks to Keisha Scott and the staff.

Schereville,In location. Company is great my issue is with this specific office. Arrived for scheduled appointment in severe weather to find the location closed early due to tornado warning. That was understandable but no calls or texts informing us not to come. Also refused entry even though they were physically there to allow us to ride out the storm. We were physically turned away by staff member but they did answer the phone. Thank God for the sweet pet store next door for allowing us to ride out the storm in their location. Bless them for having compassion in a stressful situation. Especially after we dodged down power lines and fallen trees in the road to get to this appointment that we already waited a month for. Too bad a location that provides a medical service did not have the same compassion in stressful times or emergency situations.

Brought my whole family here needless to say I will not be returning. Very poor service from the receptionist to the optician. Tiffany the front desk extremely rude. Very unprofessional. You’re the first person we see and speak to and she carries herself very poorly. Horrible attitude and terrible customer service. Never been to an America’s best where the customer service was this terrible. The optician, the male, refused to get up to help. He had me get up and get things he needed. Very disgusted.
