Great farm and people...
My girlfriend and I were looking for a local pumpkin patch and found Blacks Farm online. They allowed dogs which was a plus and despite a few negative reviews on Google we decided to check it out. When we arrived we were immediately greeted by multiple friendly staff. They had hay rides, pumpkin picking, a petting zoo, a kids play area, and fresh quash and vegetables for sale (and a few other exhibits we didn’t get a chance to see). The place was not over crowded like some of the super commercialized pumpkin farms that we’ve been to in the past. It’s a cool quaint little place with a family vibe and a great fall atmosphere. We had a great experience at Blacks Farm and did not encounter any of the issues brought up by other Google reviewers. Perhaps things have changed!
Center Grove Orchard is obviously well known but this place is growing each year. Cheaper entry fee, animals to pet and feed, Good prices pumpkins, very friendly staff. Much smaller in size but they keep coming back and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Go!!
They do not pay there employees, they feed you 2 meals to work 8 Am. Until 7Pm. And give you water ...that's the only form of payment I received after working 62Hours..
