These Guys are amazing!! Every time I’m look for something the have it in one way or another. The online system is awesome to be able to look at a what I’m buying an decide for myself if it’s in good enough condition for what I’m looking for. Paying online and arranging picking up is seem less. I make the further drive even tho there are closer yards just because these guys are always beyond excellent when I call in and the prices are more than fair. Never have I felt that I’ve over paid for anything, most of the time I get it home and feel like I’m stealing it. As long as these guys are around they will be my first stop 100%!!!! From Transmission to an odd interior piece they have it all. Thank You for the outstanding service every time.

I have been going to Carney & Sons for car parts since I was 16 years old. Carney & Sons has always been my # 1 choice when I need any car parts. The very 1st car I bought myself a 1980 something Toyota Starlet needed a transmission Carney & Sons had the only 1 around. I paid 200 for it. My car ran until the floorboards rusted through. A lady in Conrad had a car just like mine, but red & 0 rust & needed a transmission & couldn't get 1. She sold her car to me for 300 & my Dad put my transmission in that car that I got at Carney's & I drove that car forever. I made several trips to Missouri in that car & even drove it to Chicago once. I wasn't afraid to get in it & go anywhere. Toyota's where made better in the 80's. Carney & Sons has always been very helpful to me! They sell excellent used tires I paid 100 for 2 BF Goodrich Tires with 75% tread for my 2000 Toyota Corolla & they lasted me at least 2 years. They can get aftermarket parts for your vehicle too, my driver's side inside door handle broke twice in the winter time on my 2000 Toyota Corolla. New aftermarket door handles are exactly the same as the Toyota garages, but half the price. Unfortunately I found that out the hard way mine broke & I had to get the 1st door handle at the Ames Toyota garage. If you need good used parts, aftermarket parts, or tires for your vehicle please call Carney & Sons in Ames, Ia. 34 years later & Carney & Sons is always my 1st call for car parts. THANKS CARNEY & SONS FOR ALL OF YOUR HELP THROUGH THE MANY YEARS!
