Only went here because closet to my house. During covid. I watch 3 nurses walk into THE HOSPITAL withOUT having their mask on. Place was dirty blanket they gave me still had blood on it. I guess there was also a patient who is there often, I heard them say “I hope he does this time”

TERRIBLE!! Will not be back. My 9 year old was in the emergency room and after 5 hours was taken to a room. I understand the high wait time because they were busy. We get into a room and wait 30 mins to see anyone, again i understand. I’m being patient at this point even though I had a note from the doctor saying he needed to be admitted to the hospital. Finally they come to put an IV in him and they make a mess. They let blood gush everywhere. They put the used needle on the bed by my mothers foot. Then she leaves the room and puts the needle on my chair just sitting there. At this point there’s a needle on the chair, puddle of blood on the floor, and blood all over the bed. I clean everything up even though I’m not supposed to. I look at his table and there’s an unopened needle sitting there. Why would you leave needles out in the open so carelessly?!?! our first nurse was not very nice. Our second nurse and doctor were very nice though. Just startled by the biohazard with the blood and used needles sitting almost stabbing my mother. I took several photos.

I am really saddened by the communication that was given to me tonight. The er crisis worker talked down to me and tried to school me in the protocol of their mental health Dept. She told me if I had a credit card that I could get her evaluation done at a better facility. They are sending her to what looks like one of the worst state funded hospitals because if no insurance. It was told to my husband that they could do the evaluation at St. Joe's now they changed their mind over money. Sad. Very sad. I really wish our state could be more caring.

It’s only one star because zero isn’t an option. Let’s face it, most of the people waiting here aren’t going to take the time to review it.... worst ER probably in the entire country. Bring you by ambulance and then wheel you out into waiting room- for severe chest pain. We’ve been through the god awful wait times and zero response to treat pain so many times it’s our fault for even coming here... I’m convinced people have died in the waiting room.. it’s that bad... Choose any other option available and if it’s the only one, try to only come if you truly will die at home, and even then, I would probably choose to stay home....

Two doctors for 10 rooms, one of them wasn't even a doctor but a physicians assistant. Came in for severe back pain so what do they do? Leave me in a wheelchair for 3 hours and tell me that no doctor or specialist can see me. Nurses were nice but when I called for them they just turned it off and it took them an hour to see what I needed. Definitely never going back.

We come here because it is the lesser of two evils but it is not much better than Silver Cross. The wait is still long (we have been here since 11pm, the same 5 people in the waiting room since we got here). They keep telling us (for the last 3 hours) that beds are opening up real soon. I have seen 4 people leave, which means BEDS ARE OPEN but no one is going back. The attitude of staff is the only thing better than Silver Cross hospital. You could easily die in either waiting room and I don't think the staff would notice or react.

Tried going twice in two years....never have staff. Always a full waiting room. Always told I'm not a priority with chest problems. Was told at least 4 hours but probably way longer. They leave you waiting. Always ignore when people ask for help. Never going back
