DO YOU LOVE WHALES? Make wonderful memories in a wonderful family atmosphere. Island Adventures is your best choice. They have a state of the Art vessel, it is roomy, it is fast and you wont get Sea sick. The Staff members are like an extension of your family. Well at least that is how we felt. Something we loved was how the trip was narrated by a staff member who is knowledgeable of the history of the area, the species that inhabit the area traveled, the eco system population and the dependency of each species within the area. The Trip was incredibly scenic abd informative. We have breath taking photos to remember. Get away, bring your friends, bring your family, bring a boyfriend or girlfriend, you can even propose marriage on this trip. It is that inspiring. Impact your life in a compelling positive way and choose Island Adventures. We did and we will choose them again.

Highly recommend- we recently went on the 3:30 tour out of anacortes and saw 20 different killer whales. They said it was a super pod that we saw! It’s way up there though almost by Canada. And it’s cold- dress super warm, like not kidding like a winter jacket. Guides were awesome and well educated. Really enjoyed this tour- if you’re on the fence definitely do it!

Very friendly and entertaining service, the Island Explore 5 is an amazing boat for whale watching. Great views from every floor, and big enough to not make you sick. Definitely recommend binoculars or camera with a good lens to see the wildlife better. Very informative and funny program. Clean facilities. Overall well worth the money. One small critique/note I have is to update the menu to include a hot food option suitable for a plant based diet.

If you’ve been “shopping around” then stop and look no further, these are the people you want to go out on the water with to see some beautiful sea pandas (killer whales). Stellar crew/staff that go above and beyond. You will not be disappointed with Island Adventures! We can’t wait to join them again for another adventure!

I always love this company for whale watching because the boat is so steady you virtually feel no motion sickness at all. They don't even bother mentioning it because you most likely WILL NOT get sick at all. Definitely a big plus. The food selection on this particular company line is a little greasy (think chili) but if you're down to violate uou diet it is delicious. I've always had grea whale encounters on these trips and they never disappoint. The captains are extremely cautious and never violate the space of the whales, so it's an experience you feel good about. Their gift shop is extraordinary and they have a great staff including a knowledgeable naturalist at all times.
