Love the monorail. Transportation right out of the Jetsons
Most of the comments that I read make it seem like it is almost as fast to walk to the Magic Kingdom from the Disneyland Hotel. This is not true. The monorail station in Downtown Disney is about 100 yards from the hotel, and takes you right to Tomorrowland. Walking through Downtown Disney seems to take forever in comparison.
Not worth the drive if you aren't eating and/or staying on the resort. Nothing more than a elaborate shopping mall with high end stores. They offer parking validation with a 20 purchase, but most stores are extremely overpriced, including Disney Merchandise itself. However, nice place to go to view park fireworks outside the park.
So much better than the musty junker that is always broken in DisneyWorld! They even let you ride in the front with the driver if you are first in line! Love it!
