The fishing is unreal. Great place to take a kid or beginner fishermen. Practically every catch you'll catch something. We caught a bunch of trout and some incidental catfish and bass. We spent 6 hrs in the morning and the 3 of us ended up with our limits of trout. Along with a total of 4 catfish and 1 nice 4lb bass. 1st time here but we'll be back!

The fishing was decent action, the morning view was beautiful Sunrise. But they have to improve their restrooms. For the price they be charging be nice to have some clean restrooms.

I highly recommend you to avoid this place. I took my 8 year old son here for his first overnight fishing trip last weekend. In 18 hours there's was not a single bite. People who were camping to the left and to the right of us didn't catch anything neither. When I pay over 100 (including rod rentals and bait) I expect to catch something, rather than get the same result I could have gotten fishing in my toilet. Another thing worth noting is the camping experience. There are no designated campgrounds, so expect to put your tent 5-10 feet next to the road, which was extremely noisy as cars were driving by every few minutes nearly all night. On top of that the ground where they make you put your tents is dirty and filthy and full of used fishing hooks, lines and sinkers. The fishing hooks ripped through our tent and I injured my hands while putting the tent away. We will not return here under any circumstances. These people do not deserve to own and use this once beautiful land. I sincerely hope they will go out of business.

I had a super great time with my husband. Caught fish. Not super crowded. The tickets was super friendly and informative. It was our first time. So was the man at the bait shop Sunday night. Must see the tortoise!
