the hardware for the kits is good. However, the tunes that they offer for the kits are often not very good. I doubt they will damage the engine of the car (you will be able to drive the car reliably for a long time, which is really the most important part), but you will certainly not be getting the maximum performance out of the car if you keep the VF tune. Customer support is also quite poor. If you own an older car and order a less expensive/current kit then you will basically be treated like a second class citizen and get one line answers to emails. Or be ignored. The tech support guys are generally dismissive and unhelpful. So, in short, if you are looking for quality hardware and you are ready to refine things yourself, then I can honestly say that you will enjoy working with VF engineering and their products. However, you have to be ready to do a lot more work for yourself to really get the best out of their kits. Or you can just run the kit the way it is and be blissfully ignorant of how poorly it is actually tuned, no harm no foul.

Just had VF's Supercharger kit installed in my BMW Z3M roadster. It has made a great car even better, and the resulting power increase is everything I was hoping for. Very smooth and linear delivery of power, but hold onto your hat past 3000 rpm! Abe was great to deal with, and I highly recommend VF.
