Anchor Realty managed my short-term rental property for several years. They have a few good individuals on the team (maintenance, front office, Q&A etc.) However, largely Anchor failed on many different levels and I can't recommend them. Examples include, poor/inconsistent cleaning (especially early on), a terrible website, high property management fees, addon fees -- at one point they even wanted to charge more fees to list on various websites such as Airbnb and to install electronic locks on all of the properties for something like 50 a month. Anchor lacks strong leadership and you are better served going through another property management team in the area or self managing. If for some reason you actually do get into a contract with Anchor, read the fine print. Don't auto renew your contract, don't allow them to be your broker if you try to sell, only use them for summers, not winters etc. One positive note, they did get my property rented. That being said, they were using widely used platforms and I had to constantly coach them on pricing strategies to get it booked - this should have been their job.

We stayed at the Bahama Breeze for 7 days. We had 7 people in our group (including 3 children and a baby). The condo had plenty of space for everyone. Came with linens and toilet paper but we needed to go by laundry soap (facilities on site), dish soap, paper towels, and all toiletries. Beach was located across the street (5 minute walk) but you have to cross a pretty busy 4 lane street. The beach was very nice and not as crowded as the main strip of VB. The Wyndham is across the street as well so we used the beach shower there and then rinsed off with the garden hose once we got back to the condo. We were traveling with 8 month old and temp were in the 90s so my mom often sat at the Wyndham and watched the older kids from a distance. All and all we enjoyed the condo very much. The price was right and it had the amenities and space that we needed with 4 small children. The condo does need updating (reminded me of college rental houses). We bought all our beach toys at the Dollar General (5 min drive) and umbrella for 10 at Walmart (5 min drive). I recommend this condo for large families and families with children! You get the bang! for your buck! I would return if we visit Virginia Beach again. #SawDolphins #FoundSeaShells
They did the lawn care in Village Springs, Virginia Beach. Our patios are covered in grass. Grass clippings in the front are on our cars, sidewalks and entry ways. When and IF they get rid of the clippings, they blow them in the drains. This causes our parking lot to flood when it rains. They do NOT edge against the fences and weeds have climbed them. We pay dearly in condo fees. Those fees include proper yard work. Calling this group is impossible. They do NOT answer their phones, and they do NOT call back. Very unhappy with their service and management.
The unit was clean and comfortable for 4 adults and two dogs. A wonderful time was had by all. We had a minor issue with the gas grill that was quickly rectified. Very satisfied with the service Anchor Realty rendered during our stay. Would definitely recommend staying at this location or any of the locations managed by them.
Our family enjoyed our stay at 301@thebeach! This condo is large, nicely decorated, fully equipped and located right on the Boardwalk. Two photos were views from our balcony.
