My psychiatrist quit and I did not find out until right at my appointment (scheduled in two month increments). Their response was for me to sit in their waiting room on a Tuesday all day until someone was available (nevermind the fact that I work during the day). I am just without words and it was scary giving them 100% trust with my mental health. Luckily, my PCP was able to refer me to a different clinic. Please don't feel alone.

I didn’t get much of a chance to start any therapy. I did my initial intake (I thought went well), but after that every appointment kept getting canceled as the weeks went by. That’s too bad, I hope others have a much better experience and mine was just a coincidence. Not many options in Alaska with Medicaid. For anyone struggling out there, keep your head up.
