AK Demo did a thorough and excellent job demolishing the 110 year-old, three-story building my company purchased on Main Street in Cordova, Alaska. They worked closely with neighboring business owners to ensure everyone was at ease throughout the entire process. Nate and his crew truly cared about the work they were doing and made a complicated public demolition a quick and smooth process. My company was 110% satisfied with the results. We would happily recommend their work and use their services again.

One of their semis with a long trailer attached was going to the field on the corner of Independence Park Road and O'Malley on Friday, July 31, about 4:15 pm. Where the road merges to one lane on O'Malley, I was in the left lane and the semi/trailer was in the right. I was ahead of him when he decided to floor it to get ahead of me. The problem was there wasn't room for him to do this nor for me to slow down and let him by. My only choice was to have him crush my right side or risk hitting someone head on because he pushed me into the other lane of on-coming traffic. Another car coming at me had to swerve to avoid hitting me. The idiot driver went down O'Malley and proceeded to back into a drive area next to a field on the corner of Independence and O'Malley. I slowed down to tell the construction guys about what happened and all I got was a smirk. I told him that the driver nearly caused a head-on collision. He turned and walked away. Based on the lack of professionalism demonstrated by the workers, I expect my message to the company will be the same. Next time, providing I live through it, I'll call the police. Looks like their drivers are careless, rude, and dangerous. The SOB deserves a ticket at least.
