I come here to study and do school work and this is by far the best place I have ever studied. The coffee is great and the service as well. There is good music and comfortable chairs to sit. I love working here and it actually makes me exited to do homework just to come here. Local Gem!!

The shop itself is easy to access and very attractive inside. The large windows and different styles of seating (bar seating, group tables, couches, small tables) is very enjoyable. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the menu is straight forward and fairly priced. I loved the art on the top of my friends vanilla latte, and my mocha was to die for! It's like they used Mexican chocolate, the flavor was very unique and I enjoyed every drop. I will be back!
I drive past 4 coffee shops just to come here. Lorraine makes an amazing cup of coffee, and her latte art makes me feel bad for drinking it because it’s so pretty. The shop itself is bright and the perfect place to stop in to combat SAD.

Anchorage is a place for coffee lovers. Black Cup is a place coffee lovers love. The only drawback to this spot is that you might have to wait a few minutes for a seat if you aren’t taking your drink to go. Worth it though, great place to people watch of just dive into a book. Even with all the hustle and close quarters, I’ve always found it easy to relax there. The baristas there are extremely talented...everything is great...and gelato. Update 11/16/20 - Completely Covid friendly and still one of my very favorites. Sarah makes a mean latte...never had a bad one there yet. Lots of holiday specials...if brown sugar and pumpkin spice sound good, make the trip, you won’t be disappointed.
