I recently took a BLS class here. It was to be a refresher for me and a first-time certification for my teenager. This was without question the worst BLS class I have ever taken. Instructor to student ratio was twice what the American Heart Association allows. The instructor didn't go over basics like how to check a pulse, or check for breathing, or how to switch roles or incorporate a second rescuer. There was no start to finish demonstration of skills or a skills check-off. If I hadn't known CPR my kiddo and the other teenager in our group would never have learned it because the instructor never assessed whether the skills were being performed adequately. I'm angry and disgusted that I paid 75 for each of us to attend.

PLEASE MAKE SURE THEY SEND IN YOUR PAPER WORK!! I am sad to leave such a \short\ review. The trainer was great, very personable, informative and knowledgeable. However, I came in with urgent need to obtain my BLS to start work with my employer. I was informed it could take up to 20 days to recieve via email through AHA, but that it usually comes within 2-10 days. After 7 days had surpassed, I called to check in and was told to continue waiting. After 15 days I called again and was directed the same. Now, after 20 days I called to see what was going on. As it turns out, my paper work was not even filed into the AHA. They said they will expedite it and I should recieve it within a day, but this should have been investigated 2 weeks ago. I have been held from employment (income for my family) and may even miss my opportunity, due to the timing it has taken to recieve my BLS certification.
