My now-husband and I had such an amazing time taking lessons with Danielle to prepare for the first dance at our wedding reception! We started off with only 10 classes, but quickly decided to do 10 more because we were having so much fun (and we needed the practice!).The dance was a huge hit at the reception! Everyone's been raving about it. Even better - we had such a great time doing it. We didn't feel nervous because Danielle had prepared us so well. Danielle even helped us practice our parent dances, with the two of us in the studio and our parents on Zoom. My parents had so much fun that they're now considering signing up for their own dance classes! We can't wait to be back to learn more social dancing! Danielle is an amazing teacher and the studio was such a beautiful space to practice.

My wife and I took 5 lessons with Danielle to prepare for our First Dance at our wedding and we're glad we did! She's an excellent teacher, and we had fun at all of our classes. Danielle did such a great job of helping us plan and prepare for a dance that pushed us just a bit outside of our comfort zone, without feeling too over the top. Thanks to Danielle's teaching, we turned our first dance into one of the most memorable parts of our reception for us and for our guests- who were shocked and impressed to see our new dancing skills in action!
My husband and I began lessons with Danielle at First Dance Studio about one year prior to our wedding. We were initially a bit apprehensive because neither of us had any real dance experience. However, by the time our lessons were complete, Danielle had us feeling extremely confident and comfortable for our first wedding dance. She is an excellent teacher -- very thorough and patient. She put together the most beautiful dance for us and we could not be any happier how it turned out. We would absolutely recommend Danielle and First Dance Studio!
Danielle was a joy to work with. My husband and I started dance lessons back in January for our July wedding. We listened to our song together and started working on a few different dances to choose what would be best. We decided to go with a medley, which was so much fun and different than your traditional first dance. Danielle made sure we were feeling confident and focused on technique to assure there would be some picture perfect moments. We are so happy that we did our lessons when we did given the current pandemic we are in. However, as we neared our wedding date Danielle reached out and offered classes to us through Zoom. Since we already had our dance done we were able to go through and get final critiques and praises. First Dance Studio definitely played a big part in creating our perfect day!
When we first embarked on our dance lesson adventure, my husband and I had almost no coordination and no experience with dance. We took an introductory lesson six months before our wedding and when Danielle said there was hope for us we purchased the 20-class package. It was totally worth it. Danielle is an incredible instructor. She's funny, patient and so generous with her feedback. The space was the perfect size to emulate the dance floor. We went from marching band geeks to suave ballroom dancers. She helped us create a dance that embodied what we wanted to feel at the wedding–us having fun and looking like we know what we are doing piece by piece. Everyone at the wedding knew we had no dance experience so after the first dance, with the final dip, we got a standing ovation. Taking lessons at First Dance Studio was the best investment we made during the wedding planning process.
