I just purchased a kitty and finally took him home. Jeanne made the process easy even though it wasn't and it took a long 4 months to finally bring mine home. I dont understand why the bad reviews. Her house is clean, you can instantly tell how much she loves her cats and that she is most definitely not breeding for money she does it because she absolutely loves doing it and that's what stood out to me.

Update: I just brought my second Maplewood baby home last night and he’s perfect. Very obvious that he was a member of the family and not just a money maker. He loves my dog and is great with my other cats. He loves people, very curious and playful, and just an all around sweet, happy little guy. He’s not shy, he loves attention, and his eyes and ears are clear. I’m still shocked at the negative reviews. Absolutely shocked at the negative reviews. I purchased my Bengal from Maplewood two years ago and he’s perfect. His vet always comments on how healthy he is when he goes in for his nail trims. It was so obvious that Thor was part of their family before I brought him home. He was shy for a day or two, and then he took right to me, my other cat, and especially my dog. He’s always been so friendly and so social, just like you would expect from a cat who was bred and raised in a home, as opposed to a “kitten mill.” I was provided with the promised paperwork, so I’m not sure what these people are talking about. I am literally on my way to Maplewood right now with my friend, who is about to put a deposit down on a kitten. Maplewood is fantastic.
I had the pleasure of meeting Jeanne and Rob 10 years ago (I can't believe it has been that long) when I picked up my Bengal, Peyton. They welcomed me in to their home and let me meet Peyton's mom and dad in addition to watch him play with the other kittens. I took Peyton home that day and he's been my best bud ever since. A couple of months in to having Peyton I had some ew mom jitters\ after he reacted poorly to one of the vaccines I got him. I called Jeanne to discuss everything and found out that Rob was also in the hospital after an accident. She answered my questions, told me what to expect from the vet and exactly what I needed to do when I got him home. She called/ texted daily to check on him and I, and continues to check in on both of us... 10 years later. She has been this responsive and helpful from the day I picked him up and even 10 years later, she still answers my calls and texts when I get nervous about anything with him. I tell everyone that if they want a personalized experience that Maplewood, Jeanne and Rob are the way to go. Once you have one of their kitten's you are a part of that family. I’ve dealt with Jeanne for quite some time now . I got my first Bangel , Link, roughly 6 years ago. He was such a unique sweet cat but unfortunately he was taken from me too soon.. He had a rare sickness that after numerous visits to different vets , no one could not be figure what was going on. Fast forward a few years I was in touch with Jeanne about another kitten. she paired me with a beautiful older kitten which I named Luigi . He just turned two the other day and is just as silly as I remember Link to be . I love this breed of cat.
I had the absolute pleasure of dealing with Maplewood Bengals and Jeanne specifically during a very hard time for my son. He was dealing with some issues in his life and was looking for the comfort of taking care of an animal. We decided on a Bengal. Jeanne invited us to her home to visit a couple of Bengals she had available. My son instantly fell in love with a Snow Bengal. He has been a major comfort and a super loving creature with an amazing personality. As we were new to being owners of a Bengal, Jeanne has made herself available to us via phone, text and email to answer any questions we have. Our family appreciates the time and care Maplewood Bengals has put into their cats and into the communication they have with their Bengals owners.
