This place saved my dog by operating an emergency surgery. Dr. Here is very skillful and trust worthy. Staffs are kind. Best ER around this area.

Sunday, Sept. 20,2020 I called to let them know we were 10 minutes out with my dog who had fallen over & gone stiff, the receptionist told me they "already" had an emergency & were very busy, that we would have to wait 3 hours to be seen so we should take him to some other emergency vet in GAINESVILLE. My dog died, we had to euthanize him because he had internal bleeding from a cyst/tumor bursting, the whole time i had him in my arms & I could feel him slipping away and they did not care when I explained that to them while crying my eyes out trying to understand how some one could be sooo heartless & insensitive. It took us an extra 25 minutes to go to North Georgia Veterinary Specialists who rushed to get my pup from my arms as soon as we got to the parking lot, I had called them & they cared enough to let me know they would be right there & they were. There were a few other cars in the parking lot but they did not turn us away.

I have used their services multiple times now and have been grateful every time for the care my dog received. The first time was a puncture wound on my dog's side, they carefully cleaned and stitched him up and he was as good as new -- and I didn't think the price was outrageous for weekend care. The second time, I was an absolute basket case because my dog had collapsed and was in distress -- I had no idea what was wrong and it was 6:30am on a Saturday - the kind vet very quickly deduced that he had a (unknown) tumor that had ruptured, causing internal bleeding and his blood pressure to plummet. The surgery required to save him was not something they could do, but they referred me to another vet specialist. Unfortunately, after transferring him to UGA that morning, my beloved Ares' prognosis was very poor and we had to let him go peacefully. I am grateful though that they did not waste any time telling me he was beyond their scope and I was able to get him into an ICU to stabilize him and spend time loving him until the end.

My German Shepherd collapsed out of nowhere in our backyard and even though they don't open until 6PM, they answered my frantic phone call at 5:50PM and was at their door by 6:05PM. Unfortunately the diagnosis was not good, but Dr Owens gave us clear and concise information and she even shared her own personal experience with the same diagnosis with her dogs which helped us make the horrible decision to put him down. We are incredibly grateful to the vet and staff for treating us with grace during that very traumatic time.

I took my Fluffy on August 29, 2020 as she was not breathing good. The staff was very attentive and compassionate. My Fluffy did not make it but the staff did all they could to save her. My husband and I will always be greaful to the staff. We will miss her dearly! Thanks to the staff for the sympathy card especially all the handwritten personal notes We can not express how much it touched our hearts. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The Bates Family.

Very pleased with Pet ER IN Braselton. Our little dog was experincing problems with swelling around her rear end. She couldn't stop licking and scatching. Driving her crazy. We called Pet ER at 11 pm and was scheduled appointment as soon as we could get her there. Within 35 minutes we were on our way back home with a very happy dog. The staff was prompt, courteous, and very friendly. The cost was competitive with our regular vet. We wouldn't hesitate taking our pet to Pet ER

I took my 15yr old Fur-Baby, Kitty Kitty here this evening and they were awesome! Alot of care and compassion for my baby boy. Dr Owens was very nice and caring. Since with Covid-19 I couldn't be in the office with Kitty Kitty but she called me numerous times to make sure the right treatment plan was found. Best decision I made was taking him to this Emergency Vet. If you have an emergency don't hesitate to take your Fur-Babies here as well. Highly recommended! Thank you, Roxanne He's home now!
