They listen, they care and they will do whatever is humanly possible!
I brought our dog in to see Dr. Blankenship because he was biting/scratching an area that appeared to be a hot spot on his flank. We love Animals First and Dr. Blankenship; she has a very calm and compassionate manner and never pressures you to buy more \stuff\ than you need. She prescribed a homeopathic medication for what looked to be an insect bite and some salve to apply to it. Animals First is definitely our first choice for Tito's veterinary doctor.
My dog was ill, sent email to office on a Sunday and got a response back that day. Was scheduled a Appointment on Monday at 10:00 AM. Dr Lori did a comprehensive exam, lab testing and explained everything to me in detail. I felt she and the office staff felt deeply concerned about my dog. They were compassionate & caring. Would highly recommend them. They let me stay with her the entire time.
Called them late one night because my teacup yorkie was really sick and we didn't know what to do.. So we left a message for someone to call us back ASAP whenever they received our voicemail message. They called us that morning when they had opened and I explained to them everything and EXACTLY what had happened to him (Carter) that night and that he was acting fine that morning when they had called me back but I still wanted to bring him in for a checkup. Just to make sure that he was okay. Do you know that they had called Animal Control on me to come out to my house and check up on my baby cause I was neglecting my baby. Now if I was neglecting him then WHY would I call them that night and wanted to bring him in that morning. That is ludicrous. Before all of this I had a pitbull/lab mixed that was attacked by our neighbors dog. They said a bear must of done it and wanted to put him down. They came out to my house and worked on him without me knowing and charged me a couple hundred dollars that I didn't even have. I'm so glad that I didn't put him down cause he is still here and doing better than ever. So with that being said... I will NEVER bring any of my animals out there to them. I can NOT believe that they tried to say that I was neglecting my babies. Anyone who knows me would know that this was a crock of shi... I treat my babies with the ABSOLUTE BEST CARE and LOVE......
