Pierpont is a great place for both studying and getting something to eat. Lots of good food and the upstairs dining hall is nice.

It's fine as a commons area but I feel like it's a missed opportunity. The place is fairly outdated with limited food options and is kinda disgusting on the first floor. It's basically the only place to get food on North campus (there's the area on Plymouth but that's a bit of a walk) so you would really expect a bit more. At least they have Ahmos.
