Dr. Houran easily engaged with me as a first time patient. She is knowledgeable, able to explain the type of arthritis, spent the time without rushing. More importantly ; when I shared my desire not to start Rx medications and desire to utilize as much as possible homeopathic remedies ; she did not ignore. I highly recommend this compassionate/ empathic female doctor. She has become my specialist for this part of my medical treatment.

I went to Dr. Phong Nguyen early 2020 for joint pain. I told the physicians that I had spoken to my optometrist and he warned me that there were certain medications that I could not be prescribed because of my eye problems. I gave her my optometrist's number so she could contact him and work together to find a medication that would work for me. When I visited a second time, I saw Dr. Nguyen and his PA had not contacted my optometrist nor let Dr. Nguyen know about my eye issues. Once again, I gave them his number and asked that they communicate. A week and a half later, Dr. Nguyen calls me and tries to prescribe me exactly the medicine I was told I could not take, which I had already let him know, and he still had not contacted my optometrist. He said he would do so, then never called back or sent an e-mail. Completely ghosted me. All that time and money wasted and now I have to find a different rheumatologist and start all over again. Save yourself the trouble and find an organized office that actually cares.

I went in and was very uncomfortable with the number of people in the small waiting area and the amount of walking traffic between the entry/exit and the reception. This is during a Covid pandemic. There was no attempt to implement physical distancing. In addition, I selected a doctor in my AETNA network, but the receptionist insisted I pay 300 in cash. I later called my Insurance who assured me this should never have happened. I chose to wait in the hallway, to avoid the crowded waiting area, until called in for my appointment. Once called in, I waited 45 minutes for the doctor to attend to me. The doctor was disinterested and impersonal. I had a follow up tele appt a week later, was told my prescription would be sent to my CVS. The drugs needed are from a specialty pharmacy, but CVS could not initiate the process as the doctor had not submitted my prescription! All attempts to contact the Center have been in vain. I have left numerous voice messages and emailed them, but have not had a follow up. It is almost a month since the initial appointment at this stage. Dr. Haroun is the doctor whom I saw. I felt like I was in a factory line and would not go back, unfortunately.

I’m coming for my check up and I have been waiting in the lobby for about half hour and now inside the room for almost 20 more
