The part they had to order to fix my freezer came in late, so we had to reschedule the first real appointment. Not a big deal. Just a bit annoying due to my husband and I’s schedule. So when the scheduled appointment day arrived, my husband and I were home, downstairs and outside all day. The tech did not show up at his scheduled time so I cancelled. We left the house around 5pm for an errand & when we got back we received a “sorry we missed you” card on the door knob. I called the company calling to make a complaint. They looked into it, and sent me screenshots of them calling the wrong phone number at the scheduled time while arriving at my house. I told them that was impossible due to us being home all day looking out for him. There is no way we missed him. & why did the tech not knock on the door or use the doorbell? I asked how did my phone number suddenly change and my husbands was taken off file? The woman was nice & apologized & said my husbands phone number was never on file... I said then how did he receive a phone call the first time while I was at work saying the part would be late which my husband had in his phone records. Seeing as they did not check to make sure the clients phone number was correct, I think the tech realized he may have gone to the right address during the appointment time and left the “sorry we missed you card” in the evening hours after the appointment to blame it on us. So after going back and forth with the company, of them covering for the tech mistake and not taking responsibility for their mess up, I had to schedule a last appointment and have my mother in law take care of it since my husband and I work full time and it is hard for us to reschedule certain days. Basically, all they needed to do was show good customer service, apologize and take responsibility for their mess up. I will never use this company again or recommend it. Especially after reading their bad reviews on multiple social media platforms.

On Monday I spoke with office manager and arranged a 12-5 pm arrival window for Thursday. During my original phone call with the manager I asked if the 99 diagnostic fee would be rolled into the repair fee if work was completed and she gave a demeaning chuckle and said that it would not roll in but rather would “disappear”. Wasn’t fond of being laughed at but it is stressful times so I didn’t say anything. Wednesday I get a text confirming a 10:15 am to 12:15 pm appointment to an incorrect home address. I immediately called Mr. Appliance (Annapolis) and spoke with a younger woman who repeatedly told me that I had to of scheduled the appointment myself on line because that’s what the paperwork was marked. She further went on to say that “If the person I spoke to did give me a window of 12-5 pm then she shouldn’t of done that because they never give a window.” I asked to speak with the manager and another woman got on the line but did not identify herself until I asked her to do so (her name is Corrine). I explained the reason that I was upset with repeatedly being told that I was not telling the truth. I recognized her voice as the person I spoke to on Monday and shared that with her. I quoted back to her our original conversation and she also told me I wasn’t telling the truth. I asked why on earth would I lie and her response was “I don’t know.” Unbelievable! I canceled the appointment and did a google search on creating a review for them and at that point saw that Angie’s List rated them 2/5. Wished I had seen that before scheduling appointment. Truly would not suggest doing business with this company. WOW!
