Love that with a season pass and a gate key we're able to gain access any day of the year. Even though its winter, the weather was great today and the beach areas were kept clean. It wasn't crowded whatsoever and anyone who was there were very friendly. Even though these are strange times due to Covid-19 rules the state park is a great place to take family for a day trip. We'll be back another day when the weather clears up from the next snow storm coming in tomorrow.

It’s a beach feeling state park. Most importantly, looks beautiful and maintained well. It’s worth a visit if you live around Baltimore and looking for a day trip.

Sandy Point State Park is a good location of you just want to get a little beach feeling. You can play volleyball, grill, swim, sunbathe, and just enjoy your day. Even offer a baseball court. The day I went was towards the end of the summer so there wasn’t to many people at one spot just enough to find a open space on the sand to relax. Definitely wouldn’t recommend wearing light shoes since the sand there stains orange. The sand isn’t fine it’s more of a rougher sand but still enjoyable.

It's a beautiful state park which we never came across before. We visited during the month of December and there was hardly anyone in the park. Summer would be a better time to visit. It has a beautiful beach area. There is an entry fee to the park 3. Good location. Would recommend!

Lights on the bay is so much fun to see! Me and my family go there every year. The maintenance of the bathroom, sinks, and drinking fountains could use some help. There were literal frog eggs in the sinks and drinking fountains. Of course I could understand how difficult it would be to take care of every little thing in the park. The beaches are nice and calm. if you go to the park at the right time it can be amazing. The wildlife and the parks Beauty mixed together makes a amazing walk. The park can go from 20 people to 300 people in an hour. Truly one of my favorite places to go in my area I would recommend!
