Skipjack Distilleries is poised to capitalize on this opportunity and will focus on the consumer demand for craft distilled products that are uncommon in quality and variety, while paying attention to traditional styles and methods. The distillery is founded as a Chesapeake Bay oriented business and embraces the local folklore, history and ecology of the region while collaborating with various Bay businesses and groups to grow local support. Opening date is anticipated for early 2016.
