A beautiful area for hiking and just a short scenic drive from the city. There are a number of other great trails in the area too.

Parked here last Saturday because the main lot was full, but it worked out perfectly for doing a portion of the Hackberry loop without having to hike along the forest road to the main TH/lot.
Great hike in a beautiful area around the Super Stitions Mountains. The hike is pretty easy. You have choices to go higher but if you do the loop it’s not bad. There are breath taking views every where you look.
Lots of room. Clean restroom. Accessible trails. Great views.
Beautiful trail! A fairly easy loop, you lose sight of civilization very quickly and are soon surrounded by lovely and varying desert landscape. Be careful to stay hydrated and use sunscreen though, especially in late spring/ summer, as there's not much shade along the trail. Also rattlesnakes are more active in warmer weather on this trail, so if you have pups, be aware. All in all, a wonderful way to spend 3 to 4 hours!
