We were seated by what looked to be a manager at 8:10pm. After we received waters and menus from our server we were told that we would only be able to order cheese, salad and dessert. We were told that it takes 1 1/2 - 2 hours to eat and because they closed at 9, we were unable to get the entree portion of the meal. This is all very interesting to me as a previous 5 star restaurant manager. Going through a pandemic, why they would risk their revenue and potential returning customers over an assumption on when a meal would be completed? Their average customer, sure... BUT, the person who seated us should have said something. Or maybe online it should be noted to arrive no later than 730pm because they close promptly at 9pm. Now, we drove from Green bay and at this point, ended up going to Carmellas. They served us at 830pm...they close at 9pm, we were out of the resturant by 9:15pm and it was AMAZING. The last time we were at melting pot we spent over 300!!!!!! I am beyond disappointed

Had an amazing anniversary dinner there, they were very attentive and considerate and made the night special.
I'm not sure where to begin.. Tonight, my sister and I enjoyed the four course meal as first timers and we're blown away! I at first thought it was overpriced for being fondue, until I received the actual four course meal. My worriness about spending a lot of money for something I might not have enjoyed, instantly disappeared the minute I tasted the first round of fondue, being the cheese fondue. Once we moved onto the salads, I was impressed with their house special dressing and the way it tied the whole salad together. I don't think I've ever had such a tasty salad in my life! Once we received the main course, my jaw dropped at the amazing staging they did with the food and serving plates. I didn't think I'd make it to the chocolate fondue for dessert, but I swallowed the little pride I had left and jumped right in. I'm pretty speechless and trying to find the best words to describe how perfect this dinner was. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was amazing as well! If I could've ended my dinner by starting over and doing it again, I would've. Worth every cent, 100% would recommend.
Experience is great and the food is good. It's honestly a bit pricey so it's not somewhere we visit but every few years. I used to love their house salad dressing but when I asked for it upon my last visit I was given a stronger honey mustard dressing and it was so heavy in my salad I couldn't finish. Not sure when the original house dressing changed, but that was a disappointing discovery. Overall, the food was delicious though and they made my daughter's 16th birthday very enjoyable.
My husband and I visited recently, and we have visited several times before, but I wanted to share our great experience. We enjoy the 4 course meal. We take our time cooking our food fondue style and talk throughout our meal. It's definitely worth the time and money. They also have happy hour and ladies night specials, which make chocolate and cheese fondue nights super affordable!
