Really hate I moved over here! It has been an issues since day one. My move in process was horrible. I had to wait an hour to get my keys which made me pay for extra hours for my movers. While I was trying to move in maintenance was still working in my apartment! If you call the office please don’t expect them to answer the phone. I have stood outside watching them do absolutely nothing while I am calling the office. Don’t expect maintenance to come fix any issues. I waited almost 3 week for my dishwasher to be fixed. I have been calling for two weeks now about my a/c put in a work order still has not been fixed. The work order was closed out but nobody came because I am working from home. I absolutely HATE I signed a lease here. I am looking into breaking my lease. Save your money and time.

Just moved here two months ago and it took a lot of calls to get things sort of alright at my apartment, trying to communicate with leasing office it is impossible, I called almost two weeks ago about some issues and to let them know that someone from maintenance just left trash and has not been pick up yet, please see picture attached. I am still waiting on call back from the manager.

1623 for a 3 bedroom??? These apartments are old af. There are no upgrades they look just like they did when they were built decades ago. Pretty outside with paint and flowers are all they do. For that much rent you can stay in nicer newer complexes on the city.

Since I have been with Appling Lakes Apartments- I have NOT been happy. I really regret signing a lease to stay here. I am not happy with the staff- Specially, management team. I am also not happy with the outcome of my apartment- as I pay 1305.00 per month for rent. Who is going to hold the management team accountable ? We have a trash fee of 10.00- grant it, not much- but I reckon there is ALWAYS a trash build up in the apartment complex. I pay a 75 Garage fee- to a garage, I can not even park at- because there is a sink hole forming right in front of assigned detached garage. I understand COVID-19, and all the unforeseen circumstances around it, but what I don't understand is basic communication to the tenant.

Hadn't been here a month and regret signing a lease. Management is terrible and uncooperative with their tenants. They are kind of sheisty as well. Not sure how we owe rent on the 1st when we just paid first months rent before move in date which was on the 15th. Hadn't been there a month and their sending sheriff's department to our door threatening us to pay or they're going to put us out. Lack of communication is this places issue. Then they ignore your maintenance requests. Toilet has been jacked up for a month. Ceiling is molding from leak from unit upstairs, mailbox won't open and etc. When our lease is up we mos def won't be moving back here.
