I don't know why they have such bad reviews, I have had nothing but an amazing experience working through them! The staff is quick to help and have gone above and beyond to help my husband and I, who both use them for our medical supply needs.

Terrible customer response. My doctor sends a new presciption for a CPAP machine. Two weeks later Apria calls to tell me a new machine is on the way. A week later I follow up and the company denies having received an order and have no record of it. I would give them 0 stars if I could. Lesson learned- Find a new supplier. Never deal with them again.

Absolutely terrible experience - no consideration or response to our legitimate requests. They dropped off the equipment, but when we had questions, they didn't answer their phone or respond to multiple voicemail messages. They were quite rude on the phone when I finally did speak to someone (my insurance carrier had to call to even get them to speak to me!) and they care nothing about patients or their needs - they just want to check the box so they can bill your insurance. Avoid using them at all costs!

Do NOT do business with this company! First of all, they wouldn’t pick up the bilirubin lights from us for 10 days after our doctor discontinued them even though we called them on three separate occasions to request they pick them up! I suspect that our 1,300 bill includes charges from those extra 10 days. I wonder if it’s a scam they use to intentionally inflate the charges. It’s interesting that the bill they sent us contains so little information that nobody would know if the bill includes extra charges from days that they didn’t pick up the equipment. If they’re charging extra for those days, if they would actually bill our insurance, it would be insurance fraud. However, despite calling them on three additional occasions (yes, that’s a total of 6 phone calls with their support), despite their repeated promises to bill our insurance, even after repeated phone calls with our doctor and insurance company to ensure that it’s Apria at fault here, Apria still won’t do it, and now they’re demanding that we pay our 1,300 bill in full because it’s “self-pay” and “past due.” So, now even if we wanted to start making payments on the bill, they’re getting ready to send us to collections instead. What a terrible business practice! You rob and scam your customers and then demand they pay the bill and send them to collections. Someone needs to investigate this company! I will be complaining to authorities.

My newborn was put on bili lights shortly after birth. My pediatrician sent a stop order on the third day of use. The lights were not picked up for 2weeks. The pick up would be scheduled and they wouldn't show. When I would call at 4pm they would tell me it was rescheduled because they weren't in my area. At the time I thought that was fine, no big deal. That was until they billed me for the entire time! It took me having my pediatrician faxing them another copy of the stop order and a letter stating to change the dates and an email of me threatening to turn them in for insurance fraud for them to do anything. Like another review on here, they did not bill insurance and sent me a bill months later for the full amount. Then I recently started getting collection calls at 8 am ... Days after I finally get an email that my insurance was billed and my new total (which does not match the total the lady is trying to collect from me). So now I am waiting for a copy of my bill before I pay it so they cannot claim I owe more. You know it's bad when your pediatrician warned you about them before sending your order, which mine did ,and the experience was worse than I thought possible.

I only did one star because I cant do zero, but if I could I'd do none. Our baby was put on oxygen after he was born. He ended his oxygen in January. Our pediatric office sent a request through fax to pick up. Apria does not communicate well, nor do they know how to do their job and check their faxes. It took Apria a whole month to pick up their equipment, which we were charged a whole month for while not using it. It took my husband calling them to come pick up their equipment. Also, apparently Apria doesn't know how to follow up when you call a Million times. They sent us a bill full price without the insurance. I'm so frustrated with this company. If you are ever told to use them.....DON'T. They are horribble!

2/20/20: For the past several months my wife, a recently retired university chancellor, has had difficulty sleeping because of the noise of air leaking from my older model CPAP. Following a very professional visit to the Lindon, Utah, Apria Branch, arranged by Ms. Alice Rutledge, I was treated by Gary Cecil, R.T., as well as introduced to state of the art equipment. Since then, my wife and I have been enjoying the most comfortable and restful nights of sleep that we have experienced in almost a year. Colonel Hughes, USAF Retired.
