I had been dreaming of, researching, and contemplating arcade cabinets since I moved into my house two summers ago. I finally decided to (could afford to) go against lesser options like Arcade 1up and other less custom setups, in favor of the fully customized, most powerful Arcades R Fun "Extreme Machine." And, wow. I couldn't be happier with the entire experience. I chose this company because of some online reviews, Jack's vast gallery of completed projects, and the full compliment of options both with the machine itself and the cosmetic look of it. Jack's attention to detail, expertise in everything from woodworking to electronics to the finer details of 40 years of video games, and utmost professionalism have me thrilled to know I made the right choice. The game itself and my whole experience exceeded my wildest expectations. Jack's graphic partner did a fabulous job and helped me create the exact art work I was looking for within a week. I traveled to pick the game up, and Jack gave me a crash course in how the entire system operated for several minutes and helped me load the gigantic cabinet into the car that we brought, neither of which he needed to do. I've had the game in my house for about a week, and I've been flooding his inbox with questions, some surely frustrating to him, and he's continued to answer every one of them. He gave me a several hundred dollar credit that I neither requested nor desired, just because I had to come a couple of days later than I expected over a hectic holiday season. Heck, we had a 45 minute conversation just talking about what options I wanted and did and didn't need before I ever paid him 1. To say that this man stands behind his product is a huge understatement, and I'll share my experience with anyone who wants to listen. If you're remotely on the fence about ordering from this company, do it. You won't regret it.

Horrible experience. Very rude and dismissive owner. Something is truly wrong with the owner of this business. I would not recommend anyone purchase a cabinet from this company in 2021. They are full of lies, excuses, and justification about everything. Simple requests are ignored and lied about. And it's impossible to compromise with the owner Jack. If you disagree with him, he disrespects you. The horror stories I've heard are true. Look elsewhere.
Started talking to Jack a few months ago when I was having issues with another arcade builder. Jack was incredibly helpful with giving me information that they other company didn't and never pushed his product onto me, was just happy to help and answer any questions that I had. After I caught the other company outright lying to me I cancelled my order and then dealt exclusively with Jack at Arcades R Fun. He was always in constant contact with me giving me updates and continued to answer any and all questions I had. His artwork guy was great, worked with him and he was not only able to deliver on what I wanted on the design work, but improved on it as well. In under two months my product was ready to be delivered, by him personally (I live only 90 miles away). and after setting up the machine took the time to go over everything with me on how to work it, run it etc. Never rushed me or said he had to go, even though it was late at night and he still had to drive back. Even the next day when I realized I forgot to ask him a specific question, he replied back quickly to me in a short time. It is great finding a professional that stands behind his product and is happy to give support after delivery. And the quality of the arcade is second to none. Would highly recommend him to anyone who is looking to back to relive the arcade days of yesterday in the comfort of their own home.
The owner of this company is extremely rude. As other reviews mention, he refuses to compromise or make exceptions to any of his insane rules. I reached out to him about his game products and he flat-out dismissed what we wanted. The worst part is, he discriminates against you by refusing to sell you a machine if you are a minority. Please beware of this Seller.
I recently received my 40" two-player arcade machine from Arcades R Fun and I couldn't be happier!!! The quality of this thing blew me away! It simply looks stunning in my room! It is so awesome to play games I haven't played in 40 years as well as more recent titles all on one machine. Hearing the sounds and seeing the games from my youth was such a cool experience, then sharing that with my son, it's worth every penny!!!! So, I strongly suggest to order the Ultimate game software, it's worth the extra money! I also want to thank Jack, his wife, and his son for the amazing work they put into my arcade, they truly exceeded my expectations! It's not often I can purchase an expensive "want" like an arcade, but the quality and service from Arcades R Fun made it worth every cent!!!! So, thank you Jack! You and your family have made me and my family very happy!!!
5 stars in every aspect! Jack Thompson has been nothing short of amazing. I reached out to the company via Facebook just for more information regarding their "Mean Machine". I went back and fourth between Arcades R Fun and another larger company out of Wisconsin for a solid week. I went with the smaller family ran company and could not have made a better decision. From the moment I asked for more information, Jack has been informative, professional and nothing but helpful. He didn't try to sell me any upgrades, although I did make many on my own doing. Making a large purchase during a worldwide pandemic had it's challenges but Jack delivered on everything and then some. Who would of thought that there would be a plexi glass shortage or a PS4 controller shortage? I guess the entire has resorted to gaming during the stay at home orders. Regardless, Jack found a way to deliver on his sale and on time. He even made upgrades to my machine at no additional cost. The machine even arrived a few days earlier than expected. It was well protected and arrived in perfect condition. The workmanship and attention to detail on this machine is spectacular. It is so solid and so sturdy I couldn't believe it. Everything about the machine shows the pride Jack takes in making these for his customers. I know I'm proud as can be of the machine I designed and he made for me. This will be a feature in my home bar area for the rest of my life. I know it will last that long based on how well made it is. There are no surprises when dealing with Jack, he keeps you up to date on the entire process. I know if anything ever comes up, Jack will be there to help resolve the issue. His customer service has been top notch. If you are considering buying an arcade machine, you won't find a nicer or better constructed machine anywhere. Plus you get the customer service from Jack that cannot be duplicated. To me it's a no brainer, chose Arcades R Fun.

This machine blew me away when I actually saw it in my living room. Tremendous quality. All of the wires are soldered by hand. So much attention to detail. Jack gave great instructions on how to set everything up as well. Worth every penny!
