Good for kids
Beautiful place to hike for all kinds of human beings. We stopped here and hiked through the Arboretum fence making sure we made it back before they locked them at sunset. Trails are super easy and well shades and gorgeous during fall.

Easy walking for the whole family, partly shaded, partly sunny. And if you are looking for a challenging hike, jump onto the Mountains to Sea trail.
Please be aware that this is national forest gamelands and some folks hunt this area if you are going to hike ride bicycles whatever during hunting season please wear some orange. Be respectful dont shout as you hike.
