Taking the train is my favorite way to travel. The relaxed atmosphere and meeting new people is my kind of ride( the prices can't be beat)!!! The Ardmore Train Station is a beautiful building. It offers a large space for weddings, reunions, etc with the appropriate reservations. The architecture takes one back to an age when railroad was \king\ in our nation. Be sure to notice the memorial stone dedicated to the people who died in the explosion that leveled Ardmore. I'll leave the exploration of that bit of local history to you.

What an experience. Ardmore to fort worth was absolutely amazing. We were blessed with great passengers and even better staff. I believe he went by Sargent or shaw but he was wonderful and helpful. There was an accident and I was a nervous mom traveling with a rowdy almost 2 yr old. He kept us informed and calm and safe along with all his other panicked passengers. Very please and greatful for him.

No one was at the station when we arrived, it was locked. Train was late, and there was NO sign showing where to board. Station is in a questionable part of town There was no way I was going to leave my elderly mother alone to wait for the train. Very disappointing. Couldn't they hire staff for about 2 hours to help their customers???
