Adagio is an amazing dance school! My daughter has blossomed through, and because of their programs - her skills, confidence, enthusiasm and joy for dance have all been kindly and professionally nurtured by Adagio's incredible team. All of the faculty and staff are fantastic. Their programs are developmentally appropriate in all ways - not only advancing dance abilities, but general development, too. And they are always there to answer any parent questions or respond to ideas and comments promptly and sincerely. I can't imagine a better dance school and am so happy we are part of the Adagio family - that's how it feels to us, so much more than a "just" a program or classes!

Great school! My three-year-old loves it! Her instructor is wonderful at both teaching her ballet moves and terms while keeping the class fun and accessible for such a young group.

I was so happy to find Adagio Ballet 3 years ago. The teachers were good and the ballet company was still small enough that politics weren't an issue. My daughter loves ballet and has completely enjoyed "growing up" with Adagio. Unfortunately that has changed. My daughter was so excited to be recommended to the intensive ballet program this fall- she works hard and practices all the time-- and though I'm her parent-- she is quite the athletic and impressive little dancer. However, a month into the program the ballet studio says they have made a mistake and want to demote her. My guess-- because of other parents who were mad their daughters weren't promoted were complaining. I was totally aghast and mortified that a ballet studio would CRUSH an 8-year old girl for politics. Wow. I'm sorry -- but this isn't the Washington Ballet School or even NOVA Ballet. I would never recommend this studio to anybody. To hurt a little girl for politics or whatever is unreal and totally disgusting.

Great school and faculty. A place to learn dance from age 3 to 80.

We once made the mistake of moving to another school closer to home. Do not fall for that trap! This school combines the elusive trifecta of kind instruction, inspired routines and an engaged parent experience. My 6 year old daughter can be...how shall we say...distracted at times, as is normal! But her instructors routinely re-engage her with compassion and creativity. There is almost never a night that passes now without her giving a spontaneous ballet performance at home - often at the expense of my furniture arrangements. We've even added another back-to-back class and Ms. Attention Deficit loves it, despite two hours of non-stop instruction! We are going on 4 years here and I recommend this studio without reservation, we truly look forward to Saturdays!
