Hi dr Charles Chaffee you haven’t seen me since I was 16 years old. I was coming into your clinic because of severe pain in my hips and sacrum area in the 90s. You told me I was overweight. Let me tell you something, I have CLASSIC EHLERS DANLOS SYNDROME!!! I also have ANKYLOSING SPONDYLITIS!!!, I’ve had these painful conditions my whole life!!! But you didn’t believe me. Guess what I can pop my hips in and out of joint!!! My arms and legs hyper extend which you even knew then!!! Dxed me with tennis elbow even tho I didn’t play sports at all! My brother got help, but not me, nope I was fat and faking right?! let me educate you, EDS runs in families, my mom and brother both have all the syptoms and issues I do, tho they are not dxed Eds but my brother is dxed with chrons disease, and has had collapsed lungs. Both signs of Marfan or vEDS. My maternal grandmother died of an aneurysm at 37. My great grandmother had severe lazy eye. All the health issues in my maternal family line make sense now!!! And guess who did all the leg work?! Not you or any other dr, me! I did it and I fought for my referral to my rhuem. I’m fighting for my other referrals. Please for all the women like me who you failed, retire. You nor dr Lucianna deserve the title dr any longer. Being told I was fat and laughed at for wanting a family are disgusting. . Lazy drs at Arlington family practice. If your a guy they will likely listen if your a woman they call you fat and laugh at you. No apology yet either.
