The staff is unprofessional, untrained, and unwilling to work to help customers. On my first visit, I placed an order online ( around 2 pm ) and then received a call from them saying what I ordered wasn’t available and I’d have to select something else. So I did and then asked about the adjustment to my bill seeing as what I selected cost less than what I was being substituted with and was told I’d have to contact the customer support for the app the use to take on line orders. Then I pick up my order and my order was poorly boxed, the portions are children sized and I was missing the two desserts I paid for. Fast forward to today, I go online to try and place an order and see they only have five total items listed. 3 entrees and two desserts. I call the them directly and state I’d like to place an order and begin to explain why, the woman I am speaking to cuts me off and says well you will have to go online and place your order. I then explain that the website is not allowing me to select sides and that is why I called to place my order. After, I am placed on hold for a few minutes she then comes back on the phone and tells me that I will have to come in to order food because too many people call in orders and don’t pick up their food as if that is my problem or something I have done in the past. The food is not worth the poor service.

I literally order everything they have on the menu on Sunday. Everything is exceptional and pricings are decent too. Also Im not a big fan of their cajun baked chicken since the flavor is kinda bland to no flavor at all(like they just put couple seasonings and thats it. Their steaks and oxtails are the bomb, flavorful, juicy and tender. Alll the sides they have on the menu are truly southern, soul homecook meals. Make sure you guys come early on Sunday otherwise they willl run out certain stuffs really quick. The owner actually prep the order for you and everything is freshly made

As a Southern girl, I can say this food is pretty good. We eat here a couple of times a month. The entrees are great. Most of the sides are excellent too. You can't go wrong with mac n cheese and corn. The new location is much improved, but food was just as yummy at the hole in the wall spot. The friendly service and family like atmosphere are bonuses that keep us coming back.

The staff was very friendly and inviting. The owner Damian is such a humble and gifted in cooking. He was very engaging and he was concerned about if you enjoyed the food or not. He came over to our table to talk to us and he gave us a sample of their fresh fried chicken with honey. It was very crispy and tasty.I absolutely love the complimentary red beans and rice. And the vanilla pound cake with icing was very moist and light fluffy. It was delicious along side a complimentary side of vanilla ice cream. I recommend you patronize this business. You will enjoy everything! It is the Experience, Hospitality and Tasty food you will remember! Thank You Damian and Staff

Did a random search of places to eat a landed here. The food was amazing, deserving of a nap. The staff wasn’t terrible but not very friendly. The young lady who was cashier was nice though. The food is also reasonably priced!
