As we celebrate our daughter's 6th month of sobriety today, we want to give thanks to the group of dedicated individuals who made it possible. She has her life back thanks to Encore; and, we have our daughter back. This has been a ten year journey, and one we did not think would end well. Her time at Encore helped her understand her addictions and why they existed so she could address the problems, and hopefully, continue to live drug and alcohol free. In addition to helping our daughter heal, the Encore staff helped our family heal. The family group therapy sessions provided a guilt-free forum for us to understand the addictions, how to cope with them, and connect with other families who were living the same narrative. Kim, Sarah, Danielle, Vanessa, Hebe, and Dr. Raju, thank you for your tireless dedication to your profession and your clients. Lastly, Adam, our eternal gratitude. This review could never reflect the full scope of our appreciation for Encore.

I have had the pleasure to work closely with Tom Walker, Shayna Daghigh, Kim Ragan, Carrie Sue Geiger and may other staff members at Encore. From direct patient care to collaboration between organizations down to community focused events. Their professionalism, strong values and caring nature can be felt throughout. I would trust Encore to care for my family. If you are in need of support in the greater DC or Northern VA area, reach out to them.

advertised as individualized treatment, but i didn't feel like they made many (if any) accommodations for my needs. in fact, when i didn't meet the goal they set with me, they said i could either go longterm residential in a program they recommended out of state, or i'd be discharged from their program. i decided to leave prematurely because of this. they honestly shouldn't have agreed to treat me in the first place. program content was generic. groups were small and often not very directed. sometimes it seemed like they made things up as they went. there were a lot of great staff. but leadership didn't seem equipped to run a program. wouldn't recommend going here over other more established programs

I am a former client of Encore, and I absolutely loved my time there. I never could have imagined waking up and being excited to go to an outpatient rehab, but that is how I felt. I have been to 3 treatment centers, and multiple halfway houses and detoxes, and Encore is the first place that I felt truly heard and recognized as a human being. Their entire staff is warm, kind, compassionate, but also calls it like they see it with great skill and intelligence. They allowed me the space to find my truth and my strength, and I drew hope from seeing it happen around me with other clients as well. I am so grateful that the attitude there wasn't \cookie cutter.\ We all are at least a little different, and are treated as such. I am also grateful that they did not rigidly try to fix me or get me to buy into a wild philosophy, or one that copied the 12 steps. They did however encourage meetings and fellowship. I am a member of their budding alumni program, and we are a great group. We have fun, do therapy and have eachothers' backs. Hope to see you or your loved one there!
