Dr. Heitkamp and his team made my cervical spine surgery easier than I ever thought. Very informative with a genuine concern for me as a person. Everyone was so helpful. I would recommend him to anyone who needs surgery in his areas of expertise. I felt pain relief immediately after my surgery and I only wish that I had been able to have it done sooner. Forever grateful.

This Dr did my surgery about 15 years ago and did a great job, he kept me working for,10 years after surgery. Then other things wrong and I went to a different surgeon and got all screwed up. I lost all feeling in my right leg and foot and the cage that was put in broke. Should have been smart enough to go back to him, but for whatever reason I didn't. Bad mistake on my part.
Dr. Heitkamp is not a surgeon that uses surgery as his first choice. He is very detailed and accurate. I would definitely recommend him to my family and all of my friends!
The staff is very professional and helpful . Dr. Heitkamp has great bedside manners. He describes and shows you on computer his findings and treatment plan. Doesn't mind you asking questions and makes sure you understand in a kind way. Q
