Don was great, very comfortable place, very accomdating. Super fun and productive experience.
Bad service! Especially for indie artists. Don, the manager/owner will not take you seriously if you're not signed to a label. I was frustrated because he wouldn't take my work seriously and above all, he was quick to give me the bill. Once I paid, he litterally kicked me out !! His work was really mediocre, I felt robbed when I was walking out this place. I will never ever go back there. As a matter of fact, they never treated me that way anywhere else before and after.
This place is to punk music as Abbey Roads is to British rock. Don is always awesome to work with, he lets the session take it's course. We felt comfortable and the session was productive.
I've recorded a half dozen demos at Inner Ear Studio. I've been to 2 other studios in the metro area but like Inner Ear the best because they work with you trying to realize your vision instead of their own (unless you want them to produce). It's a very relaxed, non judgment atmosphere. I high recommend IES.
