JOANN Fabrics is a large, well-stocked store. If you sew or craft, you can't beat it. Staff were helpful and courteous. I found just what I needed and stayed to marvel at all the beautiful fabric.

Great place to go when you need fabric and foam for DIY projects.. Wife wanted an ottoman made out of a pallet so the Wife got an Ottoman made from a pallet.

Joann's is not my cup of tea but my wife likes them. We have purchased fabrics and a sewing machine from here. When we were doing online research for the sewing machine; there were none listed at this location. My wife & I went to the Mount Vernon location to purchase one. We were disappointed that the one we wanted was not in stock and would not be available for an unknown amount of time. The person helping us was not much help. We decide to call the Smokey Pointe location to have the sewing machine delivered there, since we live in Marysville. The person whom answered the phone said they do not sell sewing machines and we could not get one delivered there for in-store pickup. However she could provide the number to the sewing machine sales person within the store. Being very confused I accepted the number and then made the call. This person (Deborah) was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. She had exactly what we were looking for and held it until we arrived. If it were not for Deborah and my wife & I purchasing a sewing machine; I would give Joann's a lower rating.

Purchased a blanket returned it without my receipt, so I got a gift card for less than half of what I paid.So went home found my receipt and they wouldn't refund me or add to the gift card. I would advise going to Burlington way better customer service and the manager isn't grumpy

Drove 30 minutes to get here to grab a couple frames that our local store didn't have. I needed to use the restroom and went to ask for the key at the cutting counter prior to leaving (this is what the sign on the bathroom door said to do). The store was open for another 20 minutes at this point. When asked for the key the employee said the bathrooms were closed. So I walked to the register to pay and asked the cashier why the restrooms closed prior to the store closing as she was ringing me up for my frames. She went on to insinuate that I looked like a transient as they don't hand out the key because transients try to sleep in the bathrooms. I will not visit this store again. Their staff is so rude and disrespectful to their paying customers. If you still shop here, MAKE SURE AND USE THE BATHROOM FIRST!!!
