Was at lower Pilchuck Park not the best spot for cooling off the dogs on a hot day. There are lots of trees fallen in the river there and my crazy dogs thought it would be a good idea to go jumping in the water off the log jam. I think it was more scary for me then for them. Lucky run off has subsided and the current was not to strong. River bank is very steep and warning signs say no bank climbing. Well i had to climb the bank to asure my dogs would be ok. All in all nice quiet spot with good concrete tables but not so dog friendly.

Fun short hiking trail with some interpretative signs and very nice wildlife viewing platform. Terrific during winter flooding, as wetland/swamp area becomes a flowing lake. Beware of recent homeless folks camping here while living off casino.
You will have a great time there
