The escalator into the station is quite long but once you get downstairs, the station is very simply designed: trains into DC on the top platform and out of DC on the bottom.

I was shocked to see how dirty this Metro station was. So much trash behind the platform. When do they ever clean this up? I could not believe my eyes. I did not expect to see this at this station. Most of the VA stations are pretty much clean and we'll maintained, but I definitely can't say that for the Rosslyn Metro! I will find another station to transfer to the Orange Line to New Carrollton!
The escalator steepness needs to be fixed by at least breaking it into two floors. It's unsafe to the people who go downwards.
Rosslyn is really a small and beautiful place. There are many government and private offices situated. It's a first metro station of Virginia when you come from DC to Virginia via metro train.
Clean, well lit station with convenient stores and high rise office towers buzzing with traffics during the day but totally dead at night. The area has changed a lot since I last lived here ten years ago with even high commercial development, for the better with elegant, modern architecture and wider selection of grocery stores and eateries.
