This is not a USO and currently does not cater to retired military members. Stopping by on Easter Sunday, there are 2 staff members and 0 military using the space. Why not let this retired veteran, with 33 years of service, use the space? Use some common sense by requiring the retired folks leave if there's a surge of business. It is Easter Sunday, and unlikely a surge will actually happen. As it stands the 2 staff members are talking or playing on their phones and space is not serving service members. We were disappointed. If I were a Delta exec (Delta sponsors the space apparently, at least they hang a sign of thanks and use their branding), seeing this I would also be very disappointed.

Great space, large, quiet and seems new. Open 24-hours a day. Kitchen, lounge chairs, showers. Attentive and pleasant volunteers will fix you a sandwich or hot dog. You can get caught up on work or just veg out. Take the Tram to the C-28 end, get off and look right. Active Duty and dependents, retirees and dependents. POW and MOH.

Once again I was denied entrance because I am a retiree. The center is completely empty on a Sunday afternoon and two people in staff. If you are a retiree, do not use this center as they do not value your service.

MSP lacks a USO, yet has a large number of military personnel travel through enroute to their final destination. The story behind this organization as explained to me is that it was started by the mother of a fallen Vietnam war Soldier who used her own funds to start the project. It provides all of the amenities you can find at any USO, and even has a rather large bunk room for those with longer layovers or those who get stuck overnight. The only issue is it is located outside of the security checkpoint, so you have to go back through security once you are done. Great place and good folks who work there!

Brand new facility, just opened two days ago, moved to the end of C Concourse/beginning of A Concourse. Follow signs to hallway to elevator, and go up one level. Beautiful, state of the art facility with lots of amenities, a quiet, dark bunk room, and wonderful hospitality. Thank you!

Called Dennis, very late on a Friday evening. Flight was cancelled, and I asked if my wife and I could get some sleep before the next flight departed. He couldn't have been kinder or understanding. Since my wife is a dependent, we were both allowed to use the facility. Dennis even asked if we wanted a sandwich or a hot dog. Awesome lounge in the new facility. Showers, bathrooms, bunk rooms (separate for men and women), gorgeous kitchen, and a secure place to store our luggage. Ample coffee, tea, soft drinks, and snacks. Cold and hot cereals, milk, I was completely impressed and doubly grateful. Very thankful to this organization.

Always had a great experience at the USO. When I was advised that their was a similar organization (Armed Service Center) myself and a fellow veteran decided to take refuge with some much needed stress relief as we had a flight canceled and were stuck at the airport for the entire day. As we approached the entrance a woman ( didn't get the name due to the shock of rudeness shown to us) asked for some credentials, which I didn't expect. My VETERAN friend handed her his I D and she stated rudely and sarcastically that it was a driver's license, my friend pointed out that it stated VETERAN on it. I then inturn showed proof of my veterans status, she stated if you are not active duty or DOD you are not permitted. Her persona came off rude and unfriendly. Hopefully other vets don't have to be treated in this manner!
