Very well stocked, I wish I knew of this place earlier! Felt like a kind of dodgy neighborhood but it was easy to see how connected the staff were with the community, even saw them helping a guy look for his phone out front. Cashiers were so polite! Ended up buying more than I came in for (well, it IS an art store) and felt the prices were pretty normal - I'm used to shopping in San Francisco/Berkeley for art supplies so I am aware of what the marked up numbers would be for the same items. Definitely will stop by again next time I am in the area.

I've been coming here for all my art supply needs for years now. I used to have trouble looking for angelus shoe paint and now thanks to arts & craftsman supply I'm finally able to restock easily. Great art supply shop very well organized and the workers are super friendly the manager even hooked me up a few times with markers pen and pencils! I've also won prizes before. Thank you guys for the great work! You are truly appreciated.

By far the best place in the Los Angeles area to buy art supplies. As a sculptor of all types of stone, I visited at least a dozen stores in search of stone. This is the only business that carries marble, soapstone and various other types of rocks to carve. Great selection of paints, brushes and tools of creation. Senior and student discounts available. Only drawback is limited parking.
