Omg! I just had the best day out with David from Sierra! I’m an intermediate surfer, and he coached me through a 5-7ft day! Great advice - spot on. Also, every time I have gotten surf tips from Dave in the past, I’ve improved immediately - like literally within the next 5 minutes. I would HIGHLY recommend taking a lesson with Sierra surf school to bring your surfing to the next level. Have fun : )

Went out with a friend for a semi-private lesson in mid-October. We'd tried lessons before but had not felt the kind of encouragement, humor and warmth that Dave showed. I felt confident even though I was wiping out left and right haha. He was attentive but not overbearing and was really committed to us leaving the lesson in good spirits. He even invited to hangout at the tent after the lesson. I enjoyed my very first time surfing with a different school but I actually had fun learning with Dave. Thanks again for a great day!

We drove all the way from Huntignton Long Island and ended up staying half the day with Dave and Iwona. Dave, the instructor, was very informative and we had a lot of fun in the water. I was actually able to get up on the board many times. Planning to go back next week for another lesson. I highly recommend taking surfing lesson with Dave!!!

Have a great time at Sierra Surf School every time I take a lesson, David and the team are great! You will learn how to catch weaves, about the equipment, conditions and safety. Highly recommend getting a package so you can really tap into nature:)!

Had a great surf session with David! Found him to be patient with you learning your way on the board and giving good feedback to alter and improve on as a beginner. His private / semi-private teaching style is key I feel and is well worth it. Be sure to send in your deposit prior to your surf session and you'll be good to go to reserve your spot! He was very accommodating the day of our session and feel I've already improved so much.
