I've been eating Adas food since I was 14. I'm 29 now and God Bless Her! Her food is amazing! And I'm so proud of her. Her new place is stylish and the food tastes just the same. Also, I love how our culture is celebrated and represented all throughout her restaurant; and she employed all of her own. That's what I'm talking about!! This place is awesome!!

Have you ever tried Ethiopian food and Dominican food in the same restaurant? Ada’s Gojjo is a gem of a place in Asbury Park. The food is delicious and top notch and according to my boyfriend who is Dominican, authentic! The space is welcoming and open (essential for the covid-19 conscious, you’re not squished up against other diners and the staff are all masked up) with outside space on offer too if you want. The atmosphere is a warm family environment. They don’t serve alcohol but you are certainly welcome to Bring Your Own. At the end of our meal the wonderful Ada came out herself to greet us and see how we enjoyed our meal. This place is a must try, we’ll definitely be back for more! Thanks Ada
The restaurant was amazing! Ada came out with great energy and took time out of her day to speak with us. We will definitely come back to enjoy this incredible dining experience!!! SN: The chicken sandwich, tostones and salsa were incredible; I can’t wait to try more things on the menu.
Great food but my meal (appetizer and main course) came out first and my husband’s dinner never did! I finally got up and asked for his to go. No mention of it by wait staff. We live down the street and wanted to love it, but will stick with our tried and true local favorites from now on.
Went here last minute looking for something different to try and they did not disappoint. We ordered the chicken empanadas, beef stew, and a beef dish from the ethiopian menu and they were all good. We had our waiter order the sides for us and he was awesome, patient, and very friendly. We were the only people dining in so social distance was practiced and everyone wore masks. I would definitely come back here to try other items on the menu.
I love Ethiopian food. But it’s been hard to come by good Ethiopian food in NJ after being spoiled in DC. But no more! I was originally skeptical that you could have both Ethiopian and Dominican food coming out of the same kitchen. While I did not have Dominican food, I can confidently say the Ethiopian food was all I could’ve hoped for. Outdoor seating helped us really relax in a socially distanced way. Ada is an amazing chef, and really warm and came out to connect with us. I highly recommend eating here. We will be back and bring friends!!
we have eaten here several times and experience has always been top notch. Empanadas are delicious with great salsa served with it. Everything we ordered from sandwiches to dinners has been exceptional and cooked to perfection. Owner who also prepares the food usually comes out to see how everything was. Very nice touch. Must try this place.
Place is fantastic. Had an incredible meal last night. Left so full I could barely walk home. Empanadas were perfectly cooked. The Ada Special was absolutely incredible. The owner even came out to our table to make sure we were enjoying everything. Can't recommend enough. We will absolutely be back.
