Ashby Ponds Senior Living Community is an outstanding facility. The staff and security teams do such a great job of ensuring the health and safety of its residents. When I come here there are rules that visitors must adhere to for the sake of keeping the community safe and enjoyable for the seniors living here. I think it's a great community that facilitates activities and a beautifully landscaped property. It's slightly hidden away from the main traffic in the area, but ready to get to and is a gate community. Really enjoy visiting here very much.

Moving to Ashby Ponds was the best action we have ever taken in our U.S. Foreign Service career! The living accommodations are outstanding with good security, indoor garage parking, and multiple fine dining options. An added feature is not having to deal with home maintenance issues and all related expenses.

My husband and I moved to Ashby Ponds 6 years ago and entered into an amazing, happy and productive time of our lives. Living in such a friendly, organized and vibrant community has enabled us to have an active and healthy life style in numerous ways. Ashby Ponds has relieved us of all the responsibilities and time and expense of maintaining a home and yard. In short, we can have the privacy of our lovely apartments while enjoying the countless number of activities and events provided. How grateful we were to have a home here during the unusual restraints caused by the pandemic. Will Nance, our director, and his staff took on the monumental task of meeting the needs of the residents in a responsible, caring and personal way with frequent up-dates on our in-house TV channels. I can only echo our words and those of the majority of residents here, “How thankful we are to have our home at Ashby Ponds!”

I found myself alone after my husband passed away in 2019, and since we had previously toured Ashby Ponds and were hoping to move in when possible, I decided to make an appointment to look again, The sales representative was wonderful and only had to show me two apartments before I found exactly what I wanted! It was a spacious, beautiful 1 bedroom, 1, 1 1/2 bath apartment and when I walked in and saw the sun shining through the large windows I knew that I had found a new home. From that point on I was assisted through all the steps I needed to take to make it my home. The staff helped me through that process and everyone here continued to help me with anything I needed as I moved in and began a new life. About 3 months after I was here and I had experienced how great it was to go to a different restaurant every night with wonderful food that I didn't have to cook, and that that there were so many activities available you could experience, Covid hit! The restaurants closed and masks became mandatory. We mainly stayed in our apartments or went out to take walks or exercise. But once again everyone from Housekeeping who kept everything spotless, to Security who kept us all safe and the young people who are employed as Wait staff, all pitched in with great enthusiasm. From the top down, everyone came up with ideas to feed us, keep us healthy, and ensure that we were physically and emotionally well, There are so many positive aspects to living in Ashby Ponds and I feel extremely lucky to be here! I encourage you to come out and see it for yourself!

Dana and I have lived at Ashby Ponds for ten years. Dana is disabled and this wonderful lifestyle has allowed him to live independently, pursue his interests and travel all around the community.Even more it has allowed me to pursue my interests on and off campus. We have made new friends among residents and staff. This picture was taken at Ashby Ponds Tenth Anniversary Gala in September. It really is \worry free\ retirement.
